The Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, in the matter titled as “Dr. S. K. Jhunjhunwala versus Mrs. Dhanwanti Kumar & Anr.”, vide judgement dated 01.10.2018, said that merely showing the suffering of illness by the patient after a surgical procedure does not sum to medical negligence.
